  1. 6lbs of Apples (I like to use either Macintosh or Granny Smith)
  2. 1 cup of Dark Brown Sugar
  3. 1/2 cup of Sugar
  4. 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
  5. 1/2 teaspoon of Nutmeg
  6. 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  7. 1 tablespoon of vanilla

Peel, core and slice your apples.

Combine all but the vanilla in the crock pot.

Cook on high for 5 hours.

Put apples in a food processor or blender and add the tablespoon of vanilla.

Put back in the crockpot and leave on warm for 30-45 minutes.

I usually get about four 16oz mason jars out of a batch.
