Preheat oven to 375F
This recipe is designed for an 8x8 pan.
Cake recipe
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 cups of sliced apples
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Topping recipe
- 6 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of butter
Layer apples at the bottom of the pan.
Pout cake batter over the apples.
Sprinkle topping over the batter.
Bake for 35-45 minutes.
